ARE YOU APPLYING TO A UC? Don’t forget to come to UC Application Night TOMORROW (8/31) from 5:30-8:30 PM in the Library. The Counselors and Miss Goudy will be there to help you get started on your UC Applications and answer any questions you might have!

PSAT will be October 19, 2016 for Sophomores and Juniors. All sophomores will be paid for by the district, the cost is $25 for all other grades. The deadline to sign up is TOMORROW.

Blood Drive is Thursday from 8-2 in the Small Gym! Sign up before or after school in S106, or at lunch in the quad/small gym. Donors must be 16 years of age, 110 lbs. and have parents sign a consent form.

For everybody who dresses up TOMORROW morning and shows up before school, student government will be passing free doughnuts for those who get counted. You must have your ID card and be dressed up to be eligible to get a free doughnut on Thursday. We only have 12 dozen doughnuts to pass out, so make sure to swing by the front gate as early as possible. We hope to see you there.

Today’s Highlights:

Girls golf has started and we are looking for players, no experience required. We have plenty of club sets to borrow available for those who need clubs! The following are the percentages of students who dressed up for each class for College Day, Freshman: 23%, Sophomores: 16%, Juniors: 28%, Seniors: 27%. 82% of Team Black dressed up, while 77% of Team Red dressed. For Name-That-Tune, Sophomore and Freshman are tied for first place with both classes getting two songs. Seniors come in second, having gotten one songs, and Juniors have not gotten a song yet. Currently, Team Red is winning for Name-That-Tune, having gotten one song so far. Sophomores won lunch time games yesterday. That’s all for now, up the good work and enjoy the rest of your spirit week.
