Congratulations to the AHS Debate team for their performance at Ponderosa HS last Saturday in the first tournament of this year’s season. Arham Javid and Jared Parris both made it to the final round of Student Congress, and finished in the top twelve students of all the participants of that event. Jocelin Rivera and Kiran Khalid – our league’s entry to the State Tournament last year – finished with a 3-1 record in Policy Debate. In all, fourteen Titans headed up the hill and showed their school pride. Our next competition will be a speech tournament at Woodcreek HS next month.
